Why do some of us begin to feel nervous when our TBR pile gets below 100? At least it feels that way. I think sometimes the promise a new book offers is as enjoyable as the book itself. Yesterday the National Book Circle Critics announced the 2007 finalists.
Titles that look interesting to me as I scan the list and look at a few descriptions:
- Joshua Clark’s Heart Like Water: Surviving Katrina and Life in Its Disaster Zone
- Arnold Rampersad’s bio of Ralph Ellison
